Presenters:
Donna Davidson is widely recognized for her expertise in campaign finance, election law, public information, and governmental affairs. She is a past chair of the State Bar of Texas' Legislative and Campaign Law Section. Board-certified in this area, Donna continues to support educational programming for attorneys statewide.
Eric Opiela is an attorney board-certified in Legislative and Campaign Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization — a distinction held by only a small number of attorneys statewide. Opiela received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas and a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law.
Edward Shack has over 30 years of experience in the field and has served on the City of Austin Ethics Review Commission. Shack advises various entities on conduct of state officials, campaign finance, lobbying, and election laws. His expertise includes appearing as an expert witness in criminal trials and before legislative committees.
