SUNSET REVIEW

The Texas Ethics Commission underwent Sunset Review during the 2024–2025 cycle (89th Legislative Session). While PAAT engaged actively in the process—submitting formal recommendations to improve ethics laws and procedures and closely monitoring legislative developments—no Sunset legislation for the Commission passed in either chamber this session.
